I Just wrapped up an exciting project for JAPANNEXT, a cutting-edge leader in screens and displays, founded by visionary CEO Sam Becker. Known for pushing boundaries in the tech and e-sports world, JAPANNEXT embodies a future without limits. Sam’s belief that technology can unlock endless possibilities—whether for gamers or professionals—was the driving force behind my latest creation.
I originally set out to create a calligraphy piece featuring the word “Mugen” (無限), meaning “no limits.” It felt like a perfect fit for a company breaking barriers. But when the ink dried, something didn’t sit right. The piece was beautiful, but was I pushing my limits? It kinda felt too safe.
Then, a spark hit! I scanned the calligraphy, transformed it into 3D data, and had it 3D printed full-size, creating a futuristic piece that merges tradition with innovation. This artwork doesn’t just capture JAPANNEXT’s spirit—it’s a bold reflection of the limitless potential that technology and creativity can achieve together.
